Shoptet Addons are custom extensions that developers can create to enhance the functionality of Shoptet e-shops. Shoptet Addons are monetized through the Shoptet Marketplace, where developers can submit their creations for sale or distribution.

Currently you need to become a Shoptet partner to be able to submit your addon to the Shoptet store, you can became Shoptet Partner easily. We encourage you to start developing by submitting the addon ideal through this form. You will receive feedback from the Shoptet team on the feasibility of your idea and the next steps.

How to start developing an addon?

Shopted doesn't provide a dedicated development environment for addons. You can start developing your addon locally and on your test Shoptet store using our developler tools.

For visual part of the addon, you can use the Shoptet Addon Boilerplate or our Postman collection for API.

How to Submit Your Addon to the Shoptet Store

All addons must be submitted to the Shoptet team for review before they can be published in the Shoptet Marketplace. The review process ensures that all addons meet the quality and security standards of the platform. Once your addon has been approved, it will be available for purchase or download in the Shoptet Marketplace. All the process is managed by our Maketplace Partner managers.

Types of Addons

Shoptet supports various types of addons to extend the functionality of the platform:

  • Templates: Custom themes that alter the look and feel of a Shoptet store. Using mostly (not only) CSS and JavaScript customisation.
  • Widgets: Dynamic components that can be added to a store’s frontend. Using both visual customization and API calls, widgets can add new features to a store.
  • Integrations: Addons that connect Shoptet with third-party services like CRM, ERP, or shipping providers. Using Shoptet API to communicate with the third-party service.
