Blank mode

Blank mode is one of perks of Shoptet Premium. This mode omits all JavaScript and CSS files from the page and opens Shoptet for even more advanced customization and optimalization.

How the Blank mode can help​

Blank template cannot change the HTML structure of the page. It only omits the CSS and JavaScript files.

Turning off CSS can help you to:

  • Customize CSS without heavy overwrites
  • Skip the default Shoptet styles
  • Create a unique design
  • Optimize the page loading speed

Turning off JavaScript can help you to:

  • Skip unused Shoptet scripts and libraries
  • Avoid conflicts with custom scripts
  • Optimize the page loading speed

How to enable Blank mode​

Contact your Shoptet Premium account manager to enable the Blank mode for your eshop. Then navigate to Custom codes in the administration and select, whether you want to turn off CSS, JavaScript or both.

What to be aware of​

With custom CSS and JavaScript, your customization no longer depends on Shoptet updates. You need to maintain the code yourself and the changes may not work after the update.
